This workshop was such a fun and rewarding experience. Laura was incredibly patient and explained every step clearly, making the whole process feel approachable and enjoyable. There’s plenty of opportunity to create a piece of jewellery that’s truly personal, and I was thrilled to make a beautiful sand-cast silver ring that I’m so proud of.
The workshop is exceptionally well equipped, with a wide range of tools and equipment available to use. I genuinely felt like a jeweller for the day, with Laura’s expert guidance and support helping me through each stage of the process.
I highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to create a unique, meaningful piece of jewellery. It’s also a fantastic activity to enjoy with a friend.

I had the best day in Laura’s studio this weekend creating a beautiful pair of sandcast earrings. It was so relaxing, interesting and immersive- the time flew by. Laura did a fantastic job of explaining each part of the sand casting process and really gauged how much input we each needed. I also felt she had a great handle on understanding what we personally wanted to create. I collected sand and a small pebble from a local beach where I had spread my parents ashes in recent years. With Laura’s support and tuition I was able to create a stunning pair of sand cast studs to always remember them by. Now I have precious memories of my day in Laura’s workshop to also remember them by. Thank you so very much xx
